Ori Eisen, Founder and Chairman
Ori Eisen has spent the last ten years in the information technology industry, and is respected for his business knowledge and leadership. His background includes an in-depth application of innovative solutions for preventing business to consumer e-commerce fraud.
Prior to launching 41st Parameter, Mr. Eisen served as the Worldwide Fraud Director for American Express focusing on Internet, MOTO and counterfeit fraud. During his tenure with American Express, Mr. Eisen championed the project to enhance the American Express authorization request to include Internet specific parameters.
Prior to American Express, Mr. Eisen was the Director of Fraud Prevention for VeriSign/Network Solutions. By developing new and innovative technologies, he skillfully reduced fraud losses by over 85 percent in just three months.
Mr. Eisen has an extensive background in developing system infrastructure and implemented solutions, and he is highly regarded in the information and payment technologies industry as a noted leader and technology innovator. Based on this reputation Mr. Eisen is often quoted by industry insiders, and receives numerous invitations to appear as a keynote speaker for industry events and conferences.
Mr. Eisen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Montclair State University.

Alan Naumann
Alan Naumann has held Board roles and executive roles across several US-based technology companies. Prior to joining 41st Parameter he served on the Boards of Siperian, Eklin Medical, CoWare, and Calico Commerce.
In his 25+ years in the high-tech industry, Alan has held key operational roles including CEO, vice president, sales executive, and general manager. His industry experience includes internet commerce infrastructure, data integration and analytics, electronic design software, system virtualization, and computer systems.
Most recently Alan served as president and CEO of CoWare, Inc. While at CoWare he helped lead CoWare to become the industry leader and fastest growing company providing System Virtualization design solutions, and guided the company to a very successful merger with the industry’s largest player Synopsys. Under Naumann’s leadership Calico Commerce was recognized as the 14th fastest-growing company in Silicon Valley, and had the 6th best IPO in the history of the NASDAQ. During his ten years at Cadence, he played key roles in growing the company from a small, niche player into the industry leader with annual revenues in excess of a billion dollars. Alan started his career at Hewlett Packard.
Alan holds a BSEE degree, and graduated with honor and distinction from Iowa State University.

W. G. Champion Mitchell
Champion Mitchell has run two multi-billion dollar corporations, headed two successful technology start-ups and led four turnarounds of troubled companies. Today he is the Chairman and CEO of Network Solutions, the world's largest provider of domain names and one of the largest providers of websites and domain based email. After turning around Network Solutions and making it a successful, customer responsive and cash positive business, Mitchell led its recent buyout and separation from VeriSign.
While at VeriSign, Mitchell also was the executive vice-president and general manager of its Mass Markets Division. In addition to heading the VeriSign domain name registration unit, he also had VeriSign's digital certificate business (SSL) and VeriSign Payment Services, the largest Internet payment gateway reporting to him.
Prior to taking leadership of this registrar, he founded, headed and sold two successful technology startups in the VOIP area.
Mitchell has served as a senior executive in a number of large corporations, including as the executive vice president and chief operating officer of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company before, during and after its buyout by KKR in the largest LBO in history.
In the decade and one-half before turning to business, Mitchell was a lawyer and partner in two large national law firms.
Both Presidents Bush and Clinton nominated Mitchell to the board of directors of the Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation and he has served both presidents as a member of the President's Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations.
Venkat Mohan
With a focus on Internet based solutions for businesses and consumers, Venkat brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing and general management to Norwest Venture Partners. His most recent investments and board seat appointments include 41st Parameter, Clairmail, GXS, iStorez, Picateers, RiseSmart and Timebridge. Venkat was formerly a member of the board of directors of Crossweave (acquired by AmberPoint), and Softface (acquired by Ariba). He was a strategic advisor to Arbortext (acquired by Parametric Technology). Venkat joined Norwest Venture Partners in 2000.
Prior to joining Norwest, Venkat was president and chief operating officer at OnDisplay, a leading provider of internet content management software, which he helped take public in 1999. OnDisplay was subsequently acquired by Vignette Corporation. Earlier Venkat was vice president of global marketing and e-commerce at GEIS, formerly one of GE's 11 operating businesses. He also served as president at Cadis, a software start-up; executive vice president of marketing at VMX, a pioneer in voice processing; and CEO of WIPRO Systems Ltd.
Venkat began his career as an Advertising research analyst with Young & Rubicam in New York, where he built mathematical models to measure advertising effectiveness for Y&R's major clients. He subsequently held marketing and management positions at several companies including Hewlett Packard and McKinsey.
Venkat was awarded an MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was elected a Baker Scholar. He also holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a master's degree in industrial and system engineering from the University of Florida.

Ted Schlein
Ted Schlein joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in November 1996. His focus has been in the area of enterprise security and applications, infrastructure and services. Ted managed the KPCB Java Fund, formed to invest in Java technology-based companies and related Internet, Intranet, networking and communications companies. He serves on the board of 3VR, 41st Parameter, ArcSight, ENDFORCE, Fortify Software, IronPlanet, Ketera Technologies, Oakley Networks, and oversees the company's interests in Internet Security Systems and New Vine Logistics. Additionally, Ted serves on the board of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA).
Ted came to KPCB with significant experience in enterprise software business management at Symantec Corporation. As Vice President of Networking and Client Server Technology, he was responsible for overseeing the marketing and development of enterprise products. Prior to that he served as VP of Symantec's European business development and as VP Data Management Group. Mr. Schlein is credited with establishing Symantec in both the utilities and antivirus markets by starting and building these business units. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
